Although I've been keeping a DVD list for some time I have come to a point where I know there are some DVDs that have slipped of the list. I've decided that an audit is the only way to go. As part of the audit I've also started transfering my list to http://dvdtracker.com/. The list has the advantage of having a DVD list that I can select new DVDs from other than entering all the information by hand.
