ABC Classic 100

This weekend the Classic 100 Piano on ABC Classic FM concluded with
Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata (Piano Sonata No.14 in C-sharp minor Op.27/2) voted Australia's No.1 Classical Piano piece. This lastest countdown was the followup to the Previous Classic 100 which asked the question "What was the one piece of classical music they couldn't live without?" which occured 3 years ago and voted Mozart's Clarinet Concerto in A, K.622 No.1 (Which is my favourite piece of Classical Music)

The reason for the post is they have released both countdowns on CD box sets. The Classic 100 Piano Complete box set and The Classic 100 Complete Box Set are definately a worthy addition to anyone's collection (and will be making their way onto my wish list) especially when they are only $89.95.

If you are looking for some classical music, let's face it you can't go past the top 100!
