Service makes such a difference.

As previously stipulated I'm in Toowoomba this week, which means eating out. I've been eating at the hotel, which is where this post comes from. Last night's meal wasn't bad, decent steak, friendly and fast service made it a fairly pleasant experience. Tonight was a completely different story, basically the same meal but the service was terrible.

Tonight I watched as one staff single handedly enraged 5 or 6 customers. Ignored requests, forgot orders and wasa generally absent. I've had bad service before so I wasn't particularly perplexed and it wasn't like I had anywhere else to be. I did get a bit annoyed after the 2nd time they lost my order and forgot my drink. At least I didn't resort to yelling and storming out.
