It's a complete turn around of season in toowoomba today. It actually feels like a spring day! Nice and warm, the run is out and hardly a cloud to be seen. Have had a bad run of hotels lately and this one is on different. Eastgate on the range is built more like a Gold Coast holiday resort and as a result isn't the warmest place to stay and with no quilt on the bed I tried the aircon. The result was something that sounded like my old Lada idling on the wall. In hind site this was on where near as bad as the trucks up and down the range all night, beatse when they say on the range they mean it. I'm probably being overly harsh but when I was greeted with a scowl and the restaurant closed some time well before 8pm I wasn't very happy. It's enough to make me miss the travel at my last job. I may have had to travel more but at least the places were nice to stay!
